LUZ VERDE, de Venezuela.
Luz Verde is a group of Venezuelan rock and roll based in Barcelona since 2004. They present their third album, "Manual de Buenas Costumbres", produced by Roger Rodés (Macaco, Facto of the Faith, Nubla) and mastered by Marc Parrot. Upon returning to Barcelona after a successful tour of Venezuela, the Latin American Rolling Stone’s have described the album as "a significant and risky evolution", while the media branded it as the best Venezuelan rock album of the year.

JORGE IGLESIAS , de Barcelona.
Jorge Iglesias is a singer and composer from Barcelona. He became inured during years in live music venues in Barcelona sharing the stage with current scene artists. He has plenty of experience in different festivals, contests and clubs. He was a finalist in the Emergenza festival in Barcelona.
He gives a personal view of the usual pop rock, with lyrics on the topic of the difficulties of the day to day, the light and dark side of love, about how easy it is to escape from the impurity to filter ourselves into impositions, problems, rush, miseries... His songs do not let anyone indifferent.
We must note his collaboration in the program FAMA A BAILAR of Cuatro TV channel with some of his songs included in the DVD collection of that said program, published by El País.
Cuatro and the production company Zebra Producciones chose Jorge to compose three songs included in the OST of the TV series VALIENTES. The songs are 'Valientes', 'Las tres verdades' and 'Quiso el destino'. Recorded and produced by Alexis Stivel in his recording studio in Madrid.
Jorge Iglesias is currently looking for ways for his music to reach all audiences, trying to make place for himself in the music scene.

The Foundation Casa del Tibet in Barcelona was opened in December 1994 by His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama. It is a non-profit cultural and supportive association that aims to raise awareness in our country about the indigenous culture of Tibet in its various manifestations and their possible contributions to the current modern society.
Through conferences, seminars, exhibitions, audio-visual projections, talks and other activities, disseminate the objectives and bring closer a culture of life for many unknown. It also promotes the support and solidarity with the Tibetan people, both in the territory of Tibet and in exile, through projects of cooperation and development. In recognition of the work done during these years, the Dalai Lama accepted the Honorary Chair of the Foundation, an incentive for all members, supporters and volunteers.
During all these years, the Foundation has grown and expanded their activities, conducting courses, conferences, exhibitions, management support, travel, public speeches, and so on.

COLLA BASTONERS D’ESPLUGUES DE LLOBREGAT.
La Colla de Bastoners d'Esplugues de Llobregat was founded in 1985 and their first appearance was in September of that year with Els Bastoners Terrassa. After four years, the group split and in 1995, a group of people who wanted to recover the popular and traditional culture and in particular the Ball de bastons (dance with sticks), created again the Colla de Bastons d'Esplugues.
The main objective is to promote traditional and popular culture in all areas, particularly the de Ball de bastons. It aims to make the name of Esplugues de Llobregat known to all populations, both within and outside Catalonia and to show the talent of the dancers of bastons.

The enterntainment team "BateK Batukada" brings to stage the show "La R-Percussion", a comparsa where you can find between 10 and 12 percussionists with "crazy stilts" and dancers that will make your party an unmatchable show.
The shows are about enjoying the rhythm, and leading the public to participate in the show. Our surprising rhythms (samba, batucada, reggae, funk, Olodum, modern rhythms) with the addition of jugglers, fireworks, wind sections, etc ...
You can find us on parades, carnivals, concerts, festivals, clubs, weddings, openings... We are open to any proposal. We’ve put in 3 years of hard work, travelling through villages, concerts, festivals ... in Catalonia and the rest of Spain. The cultural association Samba K-Tumba, is presented as a group of batucada that innovates with joy and a fun way to play much outside the norm, including the styles of samba and percussion. We define ourselves as an entertainment batucada. We are formed by boys and girls between 17 and 28 years that come from other percussion groups and/or Catalan culture or folklore.

TIMBALERS DE SANT ANDREU
The Timbalers from Sant Andreu have its origin in the Colla de Geganters i Timbalers of the School Ignasi Iglesias. In 2006 we constitute ourselves as independent entity and we rehearse in the Municipal Center of Popular Culture of Sant Andreu (Can Galta).
We are a group of people of different ages and we try to learn to play kettledrums, we participate in the cultural life of our neighborhood and Our performances are mainly in our district, where we collaborate, providing that we can, in invigorating the party and the conviviality putting a bit of rhythm to our streets. We are also called to come to events of other districts in Barcelona and other cities of Catalonia. From 2004 we participate in the Carnival of Barcelona and in 2007 we were recognized by the Prize to the best musical accompaniment.
We try to play a varied music mixing the Latin American rhythms with local rhythms and a bit of funky.
Although some of us have the habit to make noise in the streets since several years ago, our entity is young and it is still finding its space and its role in Sant Andreu del Palomar.

Bailongu is a unconventional dance school in Barcelona, where very diverse people enjoy dancing and find in the dance a way to have fun and to share feelings.

BLOCO ALAGBÉ
Bloco Alagbé was formed after a Batucada course in Barcelona to apply directly in the street all the things learned in class.
We are basically a Samba Enredo Bateria, but we do not only play only with Carioca rhythms, we also travel along the Brasilian Coast from the Samba Reggae of Bahia, to the Maracatu in Recife and until the north-eastern Baiao rhythm.
Our group is very heterogeneous and we like to enjoy playing music! We try to respect the essence rhythms, always with our little personal touch and taking much care of our instruments, because they allow us to do this musical trip.
We are always learning and we intend to follow the exploration of this wonderful country which is Brazil, fascinating for its culture and its music.

New Gospel is created in 2009 by L´Hospitalet Gospel Assotiation and is a member of the Xarxa Gospel de Catalunya (Catalonia´s gospel web). The group has participated in different acts in L´Hospitalet and nieghbouring towns within the province of Barcelona as well as in concerts in the Barradas Auditorium, La Bòbila Cultural Center, The Catholic Centre and the Juventut theatre as guest choir in “Los Grandes del Gospel”(The Gospel Greats) festival.
With Manuel García Sepúlveda as director, nineteen members raise their voices to give us all their most authentic spirit of Gospel, making all of us have a great time.

TIMBALERS COP DE CAP. Cambrils, (Baix Camp)
Our group of drummers created the May of 2003, as a section of the “Colla Gegantera Tota l'Endenga” of Cambrils (Baix Camp). From the beginnines of the group has benn to entertain in all type of festivals in the street using personal fusion that its has origin in the tradition of the “correfocs”.
Between the most highligthed performances of the group there are: the “Carnestoltes” of Solsona, the Fair of Tourism of Pamplona, the Festivals of “Gracia” or the “Festa de la Verema” of Binissalem (Mallorca). It is necessary to add the performances that, from the beginning, do every year in the “correfoc” of the “Nit del Foc” of Cambrils, organised by “Tota l'Endenga”. “Cop de Cap” has with a repertoire of subjects that make anyone move especially, it creates very good vibrations.

"Cornuts" is a percussionist group from Sant Feliu de Llobregat city. Talking about us means talking about samba, batucada, reggae and funky; of course, this is party time.
We were founded more than 10 years ago with the idea of transmitting our energy though our rythms and participating actively in the activities of our village. Along all these years, we have been incorporating new people, until the 25 we are at the meantime. It means that we have increased our number of rhythms and evolved our style as well as we have brought our music to new and farer sites. As an example, we have played along all Catalunya, País Vasco, Illes Balears and Portugal; but also on festivals and charities events of NGO's and "La Marató de TV3”.

Founded in Barcelona by Alex Rosa, a member of the legendary Ilê Aiyê, and other members, the formation of percussion and dance Ketubara aims to recreate the atmosphere of joy and the rhythms of the Afro-Brazilian music of Bahia. Ketubara consists of 10 musicians that with their cheerful colorful drums play rhythms that accompany the dancers with animated choreography. Kukumku is a street percussion group born around 1997 in “la Colla de Diables de Casc Antic de Barcelona”. In the group we improved and grown until “Sant Jordi” 2002 where we adopt the image and the name that we have nowadays.
Kukunku consists around thirty musicians in continuous development, starting with the sound of traditional drums, and Mediterranean rhythms and “correfoc”, we explore other influences (funky, “bulerias”, “cumbias”, “taiko”,…) that can be adapted to the sound that we are looking for.

TUN TUM PRAT
Tun Tum Prat is a Brazilian percussion group located in El Prat de Llobregat who began his career in the summer of 2005 with the idea of giving to know and enjoy Afro-Brazilian rhythms of Salvador de Bahia and Rio de Janeiro Samba (Brazil).
Tun Tum consists of 25-30 Prat percussionists of all ages (from age 10 to 54) that began 5 years ago so unselfish and eager to learn. Over time we have become one of the longest established associations of Catalonia percussion. This group will transport you Prat passionate percussion world full of party, and carnival rhythms.
Over the years the group has evolved including various Brazilian folklore rhythms, songs of samba, samba-Reagan, samba-tangling, capoeira, baiao, coconut, partido alto, etc.. Percussion offers festive, colorful and cheerful, typical of the carnival, this time in which is buried only be sadness and joy.

“Un, dos, tres, kuà!!!” is a group of Batucada (drums) from Guissona that has given fun and cheer to all kind of parties for 6 years. It has got 19 members loaded with rhythms of percussion who cheer everybody. The rhythmic and powerful sound of drums creates a festive atmosphere that everybody like, from the elderly to the children. The group is now creating a stage show in which the percussion is the main them and where the origins and evolution of the rhythm will guide us throughout the work. “Un, dos, tres, kuà!” enjoys and wants you to enjoy the rhythm with energy and fun.

The CollaGeganteraSantAntoni de Vilamajor (Vallès Oriental) was formed in 1999. We celebrated our 10th anniversary in the Village Festival of 2009.
It is composed of about fifty people: giants carriers and huge head figures, drumsand“gralla” musicians, entertainers and children.
What values do we want to encourage?
• Enjoy the leisure with the family and being surrounded by different age groups, taking part all together of festivals and many other activities.
• Our Catalan identity: symbols, traditions, popular culture and language.
• With this spirit we gather and take our giants and huge head figures (Felip, Pepeta and the beasts of the Montseny) all over the villages of Catalonia and many other places around the nearby geography.

ANGELS OF MERCY
Angels of Mercy present an accurate tribute to Dire Straits, transmitting live, the emotion contained in the songs by Mark Knopfler's band.
Their repertoire is based on the most emblematic songs included in the British band's discography. They have been touring for more than 4 years, playing in some of the best venues around Catalonia, such as Razzmatazz, Mephisto, Monasterio o El Clap, amongst others.
Each member contributes with his own experience, gathered from different styles including Rock, Jazz, Blues, Psychedelic rock or Pop, but currently merging under a common factor, Dire Straits.

Baketà we are born in 2005, to act in the carnivals of our population, Albaida (Valencia). We are nowadays 22 components, with an average of age of approximately 20 years.
We have taken part in different courses and " masters class " gives brazilian music with: Jordi Rodríguez, Rogerio of Souza, Fernando Jacutinga... In august, 2011 we gain the first prize in the Contest II National Batucadas's in Tobarra.
In our actions we make take part to the public, without limits of age, where we transmit happiness, amusement and the sound of the brazilian paces!

BASTONERS DE GRÀCIA
Colla de Bastoners de Gràcia was founded in 1981, it has a repertoire of 13 static dances and 4 moved dances including ones as spectaculars as: “La Basca”, “La Polca Perillosa” and “La Dansa de la Mort”. Our most representative dance is “El Virolet de Gràcia”, with this one the Colla premiered in 1982 in public at La Plaça de la Vila, the town hall square at the neighborhood of Gràcia.
The style of “ball de bastons” is the force a strong hit with figures and developed choreography where the emotion, risk and beauty are reflected in the viewer.

GRUP DE batBATuka DE TÀRREGA
The beginning of 2006 sees the formation of the group batBATuka, which proceeds from the drums section of the Group of Devils BAT, from Tàrrega. Young members of the organization BAT begin to work with new rhythms and they do their first performance during the 2006th carnival; that summer, they widen up their repertoire and they do several performances. 2007 is the starting point of this group, formed by about 20 people. They have acted in different towns and celebrations in Catalonia as well as several times in FiraTàrrega. They are ready to act in parades, town celebrations, birthday parties, weddings and in any other event where rhythm is present. |

TUNA DE FARMACIA DE BARCELONA
The Tuna is a tradition related to the University, very extended in our days throughout Spain and Portugal, and also in Latin America. It started in the Middle Age, with the old students who used to sing on hostals to pay their expenses and under the balconies seeking for advendures and romanticism. The “Tuna de Farmacia de Barcelona” is one of the most active Tunas on the city. It is more than 25 years old, and has participated in many international tuna meetings and travelled through the world bringing its music and style to many bars, taverns, but also palaces and even before some Prime Ministers.

GRALLAKATÚ
Grallakatú is a percussion group founded in 2005 in the district of Sant Andreu de Palomar (Barcelona). Initially the group seeks new rhythms and percussion fused with a wind instrument of Catalonia, the gralla.
Over time, the group has had significant changes in his musical evolution as the only specializing in percussion, particularly in Latin rhythms and Afro-Brazilians.
Currently Grallakatú not just a percussion group, but also an entertainment group consisting of stilt walkers, fire strip, capoeiristas offered a show where music and theater merge to create a festive atmosphere where children and adults can enjoy rhythm, light and color that characterized his performances. |

SSSTRÈPITS
Ssstrèpits is a percussion group specializing in Rhythms of Fire. These are regular rhythms “correfocs” and other celebrations in Catalonia. They are formal and elegant music, but that does not prevent the largely tap group of festive celebrations. Ssstrèpits consists of more than 60 musicians, with a mean age of about 20 years. This fact, combined with the seniority of the set (since 1995), creates a fusion of styles that rarely leave anyone indifferent. The repertoire is all its own, extensive, being able to spend several hours playing continuously if the situation requires. In addition to Rhythms of Fire (the style of the group), also plays Brazilian rhythms, African and accompanying “gralla”, most of which are accompanied by dances and other visual spectacles.

ACCORDION IN MODERN
KABUM is a batuca’s group that is based on our traditional rhythms to mix them with other further and more modern ones. It also bets on a dynamic and diverse repertory with solid structures. KABUM is a street’s group of percussion where a polka, a rumba, a batucada, a bulería, funky or techno theme can be the starting point to create an explosive cocktail that is our objective.
KABUM offers two different aesthetics: KABUM day, which is colourful and designed for any kind of performance; and KABUM night, more specific for night shows and performances with fire.
Twenty-eight percussion musicians are involved in this project that we began the summer 2004. |

KABUM
The origins of AINM back to 1997. The consolidation of the group is given us by the hand of three teachers as graduates Accordion Conservatory of Music of Barcelona, accompanied by bass and percussion. The result of this merger is an attractive music, life and attracts diverse audiences. Our repertoire ranges from classics like Miller, Gershwin, to the "Nuevo Tango" by Piazzolla, from jazz, folk (Russian or Irish) and modern music. Our objectives is to present some of the lesser known aspects of the accordion. We have performed in various concerts in different towns and cities in Catalonia, Spain and France. Coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the group, in 2007 we made our first CD recording called "Accordion in modern a la carte".

COLLA DE GEGANTERS I GRALLERS DE SANT CELONI
The “Colla de GegantersiGrallers” of SantCeloni is an entity founded in 1981, formed by geganters, musicians and members who go with the group. Their aim is to promote our culture and our traditions and to make people –children and adults– have a good time, with the help of the giants of the town, Martí and Mª del Puig.
This is a small summary of the activities in which our entity (“la colla”) has participated:
Many giant parades in many countries: Catalonia, the Basque Country, Valencia, Mallorca, France, Corsica, Bosnia and Switzerland.
Activities for solidarity for old people and for disabled children.
They’ve run many races: against hunger, against drugs, the ‘Corte Inglés’ race and F1- Montmeló circuit.
They’ve climbed some mountains: Canigó, Les Agudes, Matagalls, Puigmal and Turó de l’Home.
They’ve gone skiing with Mª del Puig at Les Angles (France)
Long routes with the giants: St.Celoni-Montserrat (100 Km) and the last 150 Km of the Way of Saint James, the ’Camino de Santiago’.
This 25 of March ‘la colla’ is registered to run all the Barcelona Marathon with Mª del Puig, the giant. Once again: THANK YOU ALL. Without you, ‘la colla’ wouldn’t be what it is.

Our show combines different rhythms (samba, conga, funk, reggaeton, ...) with choreography and audience interaction. On Sunday 25 March we will be giving all the corridors of the Zurich marathon!
