The Zurich Marató Barcelona 2024 closes registrations two weeks before the race with 20,000 runners

Next 10th of March, 20,000 runners will take part in the Zurich Marató Barcelona 2024. Two weeks before the race, the organization has closed registrations a week earlier than initially planned, having reached the third-highest number of registered runners in the history of the race to start the new course of this 45th edition.

Moreover, these 20,000 registered runners are the best number of participants in this decade for Barcelona’s Marathon and it is also the highest of the last five editions. This number is also very close to the participation record that this race has held since 2016, when there were 20,385 registrations.
