The Zurich Marató Barcelona 2025 reaches 5.000 registrations in just three weeks

The great festival of popular athletics in Barcelona continues to grow in numbers, with the objective of surpassing this year’s number of participants.

In just three weeks, the Zurich Marató Barcelona 2025 has already reached 5,000 registrations for its 46th edition next 16 March. The great Barcelona running festival, which wants to become the most lively and inclusive marathon and has the objective of surpassing the number of registered runners of the last edition, has more than the double of registered runners according to the previous year at this same point, as the 4,500 sold bibs were reached at the end of September, before the presentation of the new route.

SIX CAPSULES TO UNDERSTAND THAT ‘BARCELONA HITS DIFFERENT’

The new communication campaign for the Zurich Marató Barcelona 2025 is included together with the eDreams Mitja Marató Barcelona by Brooks2025 in the concept More Than Just Race to give value to the whole weekend context in Barcelona for doing sport in both events. In addition, the Zurich Marató Barcelona 2025 has its own slogan Barcelona Hits Different. An idea to transmit the unique feeling of Barcelona, present in every corner, in every step and in every stride, from the streets full of history to the contagious energy of its people.

And in order to represent and tell the story, the great Barcelona race prepared six video capsules prior to the opening of registration with different entities participating in the Hot Spots, highlighting the following: diversity (Diversity Hits Different), growth (Growth Hits Different), team (Team Hits Different), focus (Focus Hits Different), joy (Joy Hits Different) and the great connection that the Catalan capital has with music (Barcelona Hits Different).
